Anche quest'anno ci saranno workshop fantastici ai quali sara' difficile rinunciare per gli appassionati di Didgeridoo ma non solo. Quest'anno infatti anche chi e' solo curioso o ha un particolare interesse per la Cultura Aborigena potra' partecipare a seminari dove sara' possibile conoscere questa fantastica cultura dall'Arte alla Danza.

In this workshop you will meet and work with one of Australia's leading exponents of the ancient didgeridoo.
The didgeridoo is traditionally played by the First Nations People of Australia and has been received all over the world by people wanting to play this fascinating ''piece of wood''.
David Hudson is from the Ewamian/Western Yalangi people from Far North Queensland.
David was born and educated in Cairns and has travelled the world performing on stage playing the didgeridoo from solo performances to large orchestras.
This workshop will include :
&a -History of the didgeridoo
This is a unique opportunity to work with David Hudson from Australia.
David is a First Nations Aboriginal man. He resides in Cairns, North Queensland and is from the Ewamian/Western Yalangi area of northwest Queensland.
David has travelled extensively throughout the world playing with many people of various cultures and with many musical instruments.
He has toured with Yanni Greek Composer, throughout the USA, Mexico, India and China.
This workshop will enable the participants to work with David on an advanced level.
You will need to have an understanding of how to play the didgeridoo already with breathing techniques.
This workshop will offer:

Indigenous Entertainer, musician, artist and actor.
David Hudson is an internationally renowned musician, composer, actor and entertainer. In all these areas, his work comprises a combination of contemporary and traditional Aboriginal influences.
He is a highly accomplished performer and in 1997 David toured the world with Yanni (Greek composer) for many years. He has performed at the Taj Mahal, India and the Forbidden City China, acted alongside Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer in The Island of Doctor Moreau (1996). He is also co-founder of the world renowned Tjapukai Dance Theatre, Cairns Qld.
David is well known around the world for his music and has released over 27 albums which range in their medium from the traditional right through to the classical arena. He has mastered the didgeridoo at an early age and is therefore a renowned pioneer in the art of making and playing the didgeridoo.
This workshop will enable you to enjoy David delivering the story of his culture, music and life, and he will even teach you a traditional dance.
You will here the didgeridoo and as he is also an accomplished musician you will be able to listen to an inspirational performance.
David is known as a cultural ambassador for not only his people, but for his country and has received an Honorary Tourism Ambassadors award and in 2014 was honoured with an Honorary Doctorate from James Cook University, Cairns, for his services to music, art, dance and culture.

Having seen the basics, then more advanced techniques of Wobble and Beatbox in the didg, we will see how to create a groovy and dynamic rhythm pattern. How to compose pieces that keep the audience focused. There are a lot of rules and musical knowledge which can help you to realize this while enjoying playing rhythmically !
